1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Launxit website, dashboard, related support communications, and the services used to authenticate users, process subscriptions, generate assets, and operate the platform. By using Launxit, you acknowledge this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use the service, and limited technical information collected automatically by us or our service providers.
- Account information. This includes your email address, chosen username, authentication provider details, and account identifiers used to create and manage your profile.
- Subscription and billing metadata. If you subscribe, we store subscription status, PayPal subscription identifiers, billing-period metadata, credits allocation data, and related timestamps. Payment card or wallet details are handled by PayPal and are not stored by Launxit.
- Generation inputs and outputs. When you use Define, Logo, or Campaign features, we may process the prompts, answers, logo prompts, generation settings, and returned outputs required to deliver the feature. Certain generation jobs and asset references, such as logo job status or storage keys, may be stored on our backend infrastructure.
- Workspace data stored in your browser. App blueprints, stage progress, campaign output, and similar workspace state may be stored locally in your browser using local storage so your current workspace persists between visits on that device.
- Technical and usage information. We and our infrastructure providers may receive IP address, device/browser details, request metadata, timestamps, referrer information, log events, and diagnostic information necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
- Support communications. If you email support, we receive the contents of your message and any information you choose to include.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and maintain your account and authenticate your access.
- To process subscriptions, assign and refresh credits, and manage billing-related events.
- To generate app blueprints, logo assets, campaign ideas, and related AI-assisted outputs.
- To store and serve account-related assets and operational data.
- To provide customer support and respond to account, credit, billing, or cancellation requests.
- To monitor reliability, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and protect Launxit, our users, and third parties.
- To improve, maintain, and develop the service, including debugging and operational analysis.
4. Lawful Bases
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we generally process personal information because it is necessary to provide the service you request, to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving Launxit. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it, but that does not affect processing already carried out.
5. AI Processing
Launxit uses third-party AI providers to generate certain outputs. This means the prompts, structured answers, and generation context needed to fulfill your request may be transmitted to those providers. You should not submit sensitive personal information, regulated data, or confidential third-party information unless you have the right to do so and understand the risk of external processing.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information as reasonably necessary in the following categories:
- Infrastructure and hosting providers. Including AWS services used for compute, storage, authentication support, and data persistence.
- AI providers. Including OpenAI, solely to process requests needed to generate blueprint, logo, or campaign outputs.
- Payment providers. Including PayPal, to process subscriptions and manage billing events.
- Authentication providers. Including Amazon Cognito and, if you choose social sign-in, Google.
- Legal and safety reasons. Where disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our rights, respond to lawful requests, investigate suspected abuse, or protect users, the public, or Launxit.
- Business transfers. If Launxit is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that process.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain subscription records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Some workspace content may remain stored in your own browser until you clear local storage or use a different device/browser profile. We may retain backup, logging, and audit information for security and operational purposes.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- You can stop using Launxit at any time.
- You can contact support to request account assistance, subscription help, or account-related inquiries.
- You can clear browser-local workspace data by clearing local storage for the site in your browser.
- If you use Google sign-in or PayPal, you may also manage relevant permissions or billing settings through those services where available.
We may need to retain certain information even after a request where retention is required for security, legal compliance, billing records, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes.
Depending on where you are located, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Those rights are not absolute and may be limited by law. To exercise them, contact support.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own devices, login credentials, and browser environment. We do not guarantee that unauthorized access, data loss, or service compromise will never occur.
10. International Processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. By using Launxit, you understand that data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection rules.
11. Children
Launxit is not directed to children, and you may not use the service if you are not legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
12. Complaints
If you have concerns about how your information is handled, please contact us first at support@outfit-ai.com. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office where applicable.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the revised policy.
14. Contact
